Golf Shoe Tip for Distance

MORE YARDS from a pair of Golf Shoes??
MORE YARDS than a New Driver??

Most people don't associate golf shoes with distance. I know I didn't, that is, not until a few years ago.

I was in a rush and grabbed a pair of golf shoes I hadn't worn in over 20 years. The soles were rock solid. The shoes had no flex, unlike the squishy soft shoes of today. To my amazement, I was hitting every club longer with more control. The stable platform made turning and transfering weight much easier. I felt younger and stronger than ever.

Sacrafice a little comfort for more stability and control? Can you get both? That's a question I cannot answer. I know I haven't been able to find it. I'm lucky just to find a pair of shoes that fit at all. My 5E width has always been a problem.

Distance sells. Drivers dominate the equipment market. I wonder how many people had to take 2nds out on their houses because of the money they dumped into obscene priced equipment. Eventually you'll be in the market for shoes again. Remember the distance factor. If you can get a couple yards, it will be with every club in your bag, not just one.
